She loves the smell of strong coffee, oxymora, and the rich, tasty sound of vinyls. She is mad about jazz, raw fish and details.

Linguist and translator. In 2004 she attains a BA in Chinese Philology with a field thesis on “Chinese non-profit advertising: From Masses to Masses,” under the supervision of Prof. Federico Masini. She works between Italy, China, and Ireland as a cultural mediator and interpreter for cultural organizations, including the Italian Institute for Asia (ISIA), and Italian, Chinese, and British SMEs. In 2005 she finishes a Master’s course in Business Communication and Public Relations taught by Enrico Cogno, and in the same period she collaborates with MIUR (the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research), the British Council, and the University of Basilicata.

After a short experience as a web writer, she takes up a job at Roncaglia&Wijkander Communication and Advertising Agency in the Business Development Department. Her responsibilities include: Domestic and International Business Development, providing support for the brand identity and promotion, both in Italy and worldwide, as well as the localization of marketing campaigns and materials.

Having a keen interest in codes and languages, she has attended a specializing course in Literary Translation offered by the Herzog Literary Agency. She currently works as a full-time translator and writer, providing support to businesses and individuals for their institutional and professional communication. She also has a specialization in copy editing, content management, business communication, and intercultural marketing related writing.

In the last two years she has contributed to the Italian translation of Matthew White’s GreatBig Book of Horrible Things, and A. C. Grayling’s The Good Book (both published by Ponte alle Grazie), and Writing Architecture, written by Ina Macaione and Armando Sichenze (published by Franco Angeli).
